Default PR card and re-entry

Please can someone advise me.

I am due to land next week in Toronto. However I only plan to stay for two weeks.

Clearly on arrival, the application for PR card is automatic and I believe it will be sent in approx 30 days to an address in Canada. In the meantime I was hoping to return to the UK and have this redirected to me ready for when I come back into Canada to settle.

Is this feasible?

I should be so grateful for any advise.

Many thanks.

Yes, it is doable as long as the address in Canada is a residential one, not
a commercial. So, you may ask family or friends to provide you with their
residential address and then to courier your PR Card to you in UK. You
cannot use P.O. boxes or any other mail boxes/mail forwarding commercial
services.

No Problems when you enter into CANADA and back into USA after successful Immigration. Give your friend's address to the Canadian Immi. Officer and you can go back to US as soon as possible. Your friend must mail it to you for you to enter into CANADA, the next time.

Even if you do not receive it, still you can go back to your home country & apply for a VISA mentioning that you lost it & giving the landing details. You will be issued a temp. VISA for entry!!!

Good Luck!!
