Default Pr card

Hi there
We landed in February 2013 but still haven't moved to Canada. We are still hoping to but things haven't gone to plan. Does anyone know when is the latest we would be able go to in order to renew our pr and eventually get citizenship. I'm just figuring out our options!
Thanks!
Julie

If you wish to meet the 730 day ( 2 year ) residency obligation then you will have to permanently move to Canada before January 2016 bearing in mind you will have to stay in Canada for the next 2 years without leaving.
Your 5 year cycle started the day you landed.
By the time you arrive there will be new requirements for citizenship so you will be looking at approx 4 years after you permanently move to apply for citizenship.
Im assuming you don't have PR cards so read this link regarding applying for a travel document

For the new proposed rules on citizenship read this

Thanks! I thought that would be the case. We have our pr cards, been visiting regularly and back again this summer.
Thanks again!
