I was wondering if anyone out there knows if having a canadian born child makes any difference when applying for PR as company dragging their heels on the PNP.

Any help would be appreciated.

1. Nope, unless the child is over 18 then s/he could sponsor you (looooong wait) or if the child was residing in Canada you could get 5 adaptability points.

I thought that was the case but I had some silly Canadian telling me different.

But dont you have to update applications if you have a child in Canada whilst waiting fo PR as you may end up having to sponsor such a child through family class

No, the child is a Canadian an will always have the "right" to enter Canada.

Hi, my daughter was born in Canada and has both British and Canadian passport, it's does not help us one bit with our PR!!!!!
