Question PR, BUNAC & Arranged Employment

Hi everyone

I haven't posted in a while, but would like people's opinions to check if i'm doing things right.

OK,

- I applied as SW in November 2005 (no 90 day letter yet :curse
- Arrived in Ontario May 2007 with partner on BUNAC
- Got a temp job with the Police as an IT tech support analyst & got a perm job offer. Employer has written a letter to send to CHC to confirm offer to support PR app, add points & ask for expedited processing etc.
- He's also just applied for LMO to see if I can get another temp work permit
- I've collected all my updated documents (the ones they usually ask for in 90 day update), payslips etc and i'm sending the whole package off to CHC London tomorrow.

Basically, I've got 4 months left before my BUNAC visa expires. What are my chances of a) getting positive LMO and b) CHC processing my case before visa expires?

Do you think i'll have to go back to the UK? We're probably settled in here a bit too well, got an apartment, both got good jobs, cars etc.

Is there anything else I can try?

Thanks

Kelly

Hi Kelly

get the package mentioned above to CHC asap - make sure that you stress that you are on a BUNAC and when it expires so that the IO wil see this and hopefully process asap.

Hopefully LMO's are easy to obtain in Ontario and that you will have a positive one before the BUNAC expires - if you were in Alberta you could be waiting up to 6 months but also check out the possibility of your occupation being on one of the expedited LMO schemes with it being in IT.

Good Luck

Gaynor
