Default PR APPLICATION VIA NSPNP

Hi to everyone its been a long time since I have been on here but life has been a little crazy but great. We are living in Nova Scotia and we applied and got our NSPNP last March. After waiting for police checks to finally arrive (thats another story) we finally sent our PR application in with all relevant paperwork in August. Well we are still waiting and havent heard a thing. I have proof it arrived in London and I know the bankers draft has been cashed (only a few weeks after we sent in the application!!). I have sent email to them about 20 days ago and still not heard anything from that either.

Does this sound about right or should we be worried. Our temporary work permits expire in July and we are beginning to panic a little....

Anybody on similar time frames??

Lisa

Send them a direct e-mail to this address - [email protected] - asking if they are now ready to issue Med. Requests. Give them your file number, date of birth and state you are a NS PNP Applicant.

I would check they have your address in Canada as well as they may have issued to a UK address?

Generally NS PNP cases seem to move along the timeline of CHC receive docs - 6 months later they issue Med Requests.

Good luck.

PS - NS PNP will issue you with another letter so you can renew work permits if you do not have PR by July - so don't panic

Amy just one quick question I notice you received an AOR when you submitted your application through the NS PNP route but we have not received anything is this normal that some do and some dont or does it depend on each individual case.

My case is being looked after by Buffalo so they issue AOR's whilst London do not.

With the PNP cases I look after at work I usually e-mail 3 months after they have received docs to request the File number so we can track on ECAS - not that ECAS is of any real use!

We sent our federal application to London at the end of August, applying through NSPNP - CI stream. We've not had medical requests yet either.. .last month they told me our application had been reviewed and med requests would be sent out 'in due course'. Unfortunately in due course seems to mean at least a month! I sent another email last week checking in case they'd been lost in the post, but have yet to have a reply... I think there are a lot of delays in London processing at the moment so I wouldn't panic yet
