PR Application errors
 

Hello, we are currently in Canada (16 months) with work permits. I submitted our application for PR in January and we qualified under Canadian Experience Class. When I review the application it hasn't changed since we submitted but I wonder if there's been a submission error eg my fiance has a PhD and had 0 points for education.
Will the points be updated when it is manually reviewed or is it not submitted correctly? Any recent experience on timeframes? What is a good total points score for a couple?

You say you submitted your PR application - does that mean you just entered the pool of EE applicants, or you were actually selected and then submitted your PR app? There haven't been any CEC draws since September last year (score for that was 462 or above), so if you only entered the pool in January, that's why nothing has happened yet.

Very odd that your partner has zero points for education though, just checking, you did definitely include an ECA for his education? Who is the principal applicant?
