Default PPR received while passport is in Buffalo office for (re-entry) visa

Hi all,

Re: PPR received while passport is in Buffalo office for (re-entry) visa)

Just wondering if anyone have been in this situation before and what did you do in this case?

Also, I am an applicant for PPR from within Canada and I need to go on for a business trip in Asia for ~ 4 to 6 weeks. Do you know if there is any problem if I received the PPR while I am outside of Canada? Would Buffalo refuse to stamp my passport if I sent the passport after I came back, which would be 4 to 6 weeks after I received the PPR.

Thanks,
H.P.

You are not an applicant from within Canada, it just happened that you are in Canada, but you applied through Buffalo, it is the process from outside and you can leave Canada at any time. But notify Buffalo immediately about delay in sending passport and explain reasons and provide time when you will send it.
