Default PPR deadline missed......is it too late now?

Ok this thread is actually on behalf of my friend who has no internet access atm so I appologise if ive done something wrong, just trying to help a mate.

Anyway this mate has not had access to their emails for a few weeks, and during this time they recieved their PPR (which they found out on Fri evening).
There was a deadlline of 30 days on the email (date it was sent was 15th March) so they have missed it by rather a lot :-(

They are totally devistated by this as you can imagine and Mr Mate has just legged it to London today, from Wales, to see if they can salvage anything at CIC London tomorrow morning.

Does anyone have any idea what he can do? say? who he should see?
Anything?

They are terrified that they will have to go through the whole process again from scratch which as we all know costs loads, not to mention they have already bought property over there.

Any useful answers welcome please as he is soooo upset :-(

Here I think he should not have any real problem since he will be at the High Commission and can explain himself.

The normal day for presenting passports is Thursday and then one comes back two weeks later to pick up. But your friend can probably talk to someone at the reception given his situation..

Thank you Jim for your help and thank you to Jersey for your concern.

Well he got there but they wouldnt let him see anyone, so all he could do was to fill out a query form and leave his passports in the drop box.
Fingers crossed all round
