Unhappy PPR anxiety...

hi all

im sure there are plenty of you in my situation, but i just had to post because its driving me crazy

i did my medicals on june 30, they've cashed my right of permanent residence fee before that and now im waiting. i have no medical problems, and i know for sure i dont have any of the diseases they tested me for in the blood or piss test. so presumaby i should be ok?? i even sat down last week on trackitt and took a whole bunch of people who got ppr's in the last 2 months, and worked out how many days since their medicals. it seems most people at the quick end - im guessing with straightforward cases - are running around 20-40 days (this file is attached if anyone is curious). so all of last week at work i was checking my emails about 10 times a day waiting for that email, but it hasnt come yet

so today i rang up the place who did my medical, and it turns out they only sent it on 22 July?!?!?!

So its not even in ottawa yet. At least I can stop thinking about it for a bit, but in 3 weeks time its going to be the same....

sorry, i just had to rant. its coming up to a year and i just want this process to be over.

Mod has seen (thx for the report guys). Sadly, said mod is a technical numpty and can't figure out how to just delete the attachment without having to delete the entire thread.

Sure somebody will sort it soon though, but just be aware that it may have a virus in the meantime everybody.

The .XLS suffix is a Microsoft Excel file, ( spreadsheet ) It opens fine for me but I do have Excel on my computer.

Ive seen viruses come thru on all sorts of file attachments, on another site, people hack sites for fun.

I did not open it, i just reacted to this post, No harm done ehh, better to be safe.

Yes the wait is tiresome, we got to the point where we thought it may never happen, i just worked my ass off to try to pass the time and save money.

I use Excel but it just looked a little suspicious. That's all. You need to take some pills and relax, buddy.

Too many viruses embedded in files these days, including .xls and .pdf

It was a straight-forward excel spreadsheet which contains timeline details. However, spreadsheet contains links to a completely different site, for tracking timelines. Whether the people using that site want their details listed on here I don't know, but I have now removed the file because of the containing speculation as to its safety, AND because of the embedded links.

If anyone wants to track the details you can go direct to the site at www.trackitt.com/ also I'm sure the OP can email it to anyone seriously interested in the spreadsheet itself.
