Re: PPR!!!

Hmm we had photos taken recently (beginning of this month) to the latest specification on the CIC website.

Seems the specifications they provided with their letter are the OLD specifications (nov 09) - and they say they want the photos to meet those specifications.

So now have no idea whether to take the ones we have which conform to the new specifications, or get some re-prints done to the old specificiatinos - or just take both to be on the safe side!!!

I really hope that ours is on it's way soon soon soon too. :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:
It's been 3 years 8 months since we first began this process, but this feels like the longest wait of all.

Yeah, I appreciate ours has been much shorter than some people's journeys - but by far the worst part of the process is the wait between medicals and PPR!

Anyway we're getting more photos printed by our photographer friend (he also took the photos last month so just means a re-print on matte paper instead of gloss to confirm to the photo spec London sent us), which is only £6, so nothing really.

Should have them by the end of the week so we're good to go for handing passports in next Thursday (7th July). Managed to get some cheapish trains so 2 trips to London and back for 2 of us is only costing £100, about the same as the petrol would be to drive and way less hassle :)

Yeah £100 drop in the ocean to know that you have a definite date to get your passports and more importantly VISAS back.

We have also decided to take ours down too, take control of the situation rather than be at the mercy of the waiting game again!!!!

Best of luck look forward to hearing how it all goes.
