We recently sent what we thought where the police clearance certificates for
Canada to the London as part of our immigration process. These were obtained
by going to our local RCMP office and paying $25 dollars each (no
fingerprints were taken). Immigration our now asking for police clearance
certificates for Canada. Does this mean that they have lost them or is their
two types of police clearance certificates.
Cheers

You need full fingerprint check, not just name check.
