Police checks

Ok ..so ITA gained yayyyy (again)...... now to get all the CORRECT documents together....
Police checks:I know where to go to get our UK ones (ACRO) However the Canadian one I'm struggling with ,mostly due to what I feel was incorrect information received previously. Long story ....so the crunch is is a CIPC cetificate enough or will we need to process a RTID certificate???
TIA

Why do you need a Canadian police certificate. Perhaps IRCC have the ability to conduct their own police checks. Unless you have a similar name DOB etc you don't need to get one unless IRCC specifically ask for one or fingerprints.

Do I need to provide a police certificate for my time in Canada?

You do not need to provide a police certificate for your time in Canada. If required, a Canadian criminal record check will be conducted. You may be asked to provide fingerprints or additional information later, if we need it to complete the check.
