Police Check and Medical Examination

Hi,

I am doing an outland visa spousal application. Can anybody let me know if I have to submit the police check and medical when I apply OR do I apply and then wait for the authorities to notify me to go and obtain a police check and or medical examination.

Bit confused about this...I was going to book a medical examination but stopped at the last minute because I thought that this might have to be done AFTER I submit my application on request by the visa authorities...

If anyone can verify with certainty I would appreciate that.

thanks

Re: Police Check and Medical Examination

You do need a medical exam before you submit and the PC too. This is all in the Guide on the CIC's website which you should check before you send in the application. The idea is that you and your sponsor submit a complete application so that only processing is required. You avoid waiting from medical instructions etc. and time to complete the case is minimized.
