Police Certificates from Dubai

Does anybody know how to, or has sucessfully obtained Police Certificates whilst in Dubai?

I believe you apply to the Ministry of the Interior, Criminal Investigation Department, Dubai Police General Headquarters. You can only get them if your fingerprints are already on file with the police.
