I am getting married to a Chinese citizen living in China and sponsoring her for
immigration to Canada.
In the Application Kit for Family Class, Section 3: Visa Office Specific
Instructions(Beijing), it says that the following documents are required: "Police
certificates or clearances from each country in which you and everyone in your
family aged 18 years or over have resided six months or more since reaching 18
years of age."
Since we are getting married, I guess I will be in her family when she applies for
immigration. Does it mean that I, a landed immigrant living Canada, and the husband
and sponsor of the applicant, need to get police certificate too? If so, how can I
get a police certificate from Canadian police?
Thanks for help.
