Unhappy police caution- will it stop my TWP

Any help or advice would be much appreciated, just sent off my TWP application, where I declared and included a statement of a police caution my husband received last feb 2007. The incident happened on a Sunday morning where I was verbally abused and threatened by a man in the street, after asking him to kindly move his van which was blocking my disabled neighbours car. My husband heard this and grabbed the man by his jacket and shoved him in his van, later that day the police came and said the man had marks on his neck, my husband accepted that it could have been caused by him and accepted the caution, I wish I had contacted the police first; however, I didn't because I didn't want to antagonise this man as my husband is away alot. My husband has never been in trouble before and has been in the Navy for 20 years...it just seems through reading some of the threads that this could stop our Canada dream.

Just want to say thanks for any information I get.

I'm no expert on this but i'm sure a caution doesn't mean a police record.
Best to ask your local police if your husband now has a record.

If he does then your best going through a immigration lawyer

The standard police check shows prosecutions, cautions and convictions; and cautions can be considered evidence of criminal behaviour as they require an admission of guilt (see previous threads here).

An admission of guilt often under duress from police officers and without any competent legal assistance.

Will be needed though if an application for permanent residence is made.

Am reading section 13 on the form right now as you prompted my attention it sais:

"The name and address of my employer and the type of business are - Nom et adresse de mon employeur (préciser également le genre d'entreprise) "

And that has what to do with police checks?

Admission of guilt is admission of guilt. How can we presume that any situation such as this is under duress or without legal assistance? We have no first hand knowledge.

Where do you get information to substantiate such a broad statement?

Oooops...

Thanks for pointing this out - it was the typo, instead of hitting 9 I hit 3 on numeric pad. Should be section 19 of TWP application, specifically subsection (c).

Looking at it. Thanks. Follow up question. 19e. How far back should I go? I have a pink sheet in an old passport from 83 with a visitors visa for Canada.

Section 19 starting from subsection (c) asks:

Have you or any member of your family ever:

Ever is not time limited, it means ever, since your birth.
