Under the new regulation there are 5 points stipulated for close relatives
in canada.
My maternal aunt is a canadian citizen .How can i avail the points ?
What paperwork is required on both sides?what would be their obligation if
any after i recive my PR.

If your aunt is your mother's sister then you need to produce birth
certificates for both of them showing same parents to prove blood relationship
as well as your aunt's proof of Canadian citizenship. Your aunt will have no
obligation at all after you become a PR.

Hi there,
Re An Auntie.
My Father's 1st cousin (Father's Father and Cousin's Father were brothers') lives in Canada. She is prepared to write a letter saying that she is prepared to help us in any way etc. Will this Auntie (Great Auntie I guess) give us any points re our PR application?
Thanks for your reply in advance.
