POE states Ontario but change of plan to Calgary

POE states Ontario but change of plan to Calgary
Finally got my COPR (through marriage sponsorship) but during the application we had intentions of moving to my mother in laws in Ontario. Since the application we have both been offered jobs in Alberta so will be heading there instead. Because it states POE is Ontario would I have to fly to Toronto first or could I go straight to Calgary? Many thanks for any advice.

No. You can land anywhere and settle anywhere in Canada (but settling in Quebec would be a problem, but as that is not your intention, you'll be fine). Fly direct to Calgary and land there if you like.
