Hey all,
I fly on Monday with my POE Introduction Letter for an Intra-Company Transfer Work Permit.
I have a quick question, will the officer need to see my proof of medical insurance?
I start work for my company in Canada on the 11th January, and they provide me with the health benefits.
What should I do about health insurance up until then, and will the officer require me to present this?
Also, do I need to have proof of funds available to me whilst I am in Canada, i.e. screenshots of online banking.
Once again, thank you all for your support during my process, it is invaluable.
Thanks,
Andy

The medical insurance should be available if requested. Even though your employer will provide benefits and you will be covered by the Province for other either immediately or after a 90 day wait you should have short term coverage just in case something happened.
No proof of funds required as you will be working.

Thanks for the information.
I'm really nervous about arriving at POE. Generally with the letter of inteoduction all should be fine?
Where do I find information about short term medical coverage?
Thanks again,
Andy
