Question PNP Help

Hi,
I'm aiming to apply via PNP for nursing post in British Columbia. I want to work in the Kootenays as a Psychiatric Nurse but acknowledge that there are more posts in Vancouver.
Is there a limit on how long I need to work in Vancouver or, as a provincial sponsorship, can I move as soon as a post becomes available in Kootenays as it is still BC? Even if it is a part time or fixed term contract?
Do I have to work for the Heath service or can I work for a charity as I do now?

Many thanks

You need to get licensed first.

Thanks Andrew
I'm aiming to be registered with BC before I arrive. Application sent and hope to sit during my next vacation.

As far as your first question is concerned, you need to check the terms of the PNP program. Unless there's any specific rule or commitment otherwise, I'd have thought as long as you live somewhere in BC it should be ok.

Will you be using Healthmatch-BC for placing/job hunting or are they just for nursing (Nicky used them) ?

Rich.

Thanks for your comment.
Yes I will be using Healthmatch - BC. My immediate background is Health Informatics. Is there an alternative to Healthmatch that anyone knows?

Thanks for that - there doesn't appear to be anything but I haven't looked in all the acrobat files
