Interesting. I'm wondering if my application has been transferred off to Buffalo, LA, Seattle etc.. I didn't get an ECAS update and I've emailed Ottawa asking if they're able to provide an update and they've not responded. My case is showing as 'in process' from 9th March. Here's hoping we'll all get some movement soon :)

That's good news rubberduck

What's your timeline btw?

1-3 weeks- wow that's quick! They told us 6-10 weeks for visa issuance intructions after it's received back by Buffalo!!!!

You must be in a different pile to us;)

Interesting that people are getting told different numbers, but given the variance in timescales for so many parts of the PR process, it doesn't surprise me. We originally applied in late December of 2011 so we've been in the process for a touch over 3 months - super fast. If this part goes well we might make PR in less than 5 months from start to finish.

Wishing you good luck!

LA office certainly a bonus for us. PR will probably be a total of 14 months if there are no issues with passport return.

I hope my good fortune spreads to the rest of the people waiting.

Fantastic news for you BC Bound.:D

Though expect many of us are left wondering why Ottawa Pilot Scheme was introduced to speed things up when your case didn't even go there and managed to be processed even quicker???? CIC operating as weirdly as ever then!

But well done all the same:fingerscrossed:

Re: PNP Applicants (Within Canada) - Share your timelines

Heya SnowCandy,

Thanks fo the congratulations. The PPR email from CIC was certainly great to open.

Just to clarify though, I wasn't part of the Ottowa Pilot Project because I applied in early March 2011, so my time frame for official PR status wil be about 14/15 months after submission of PR application to Buffalo Office, or about 18 months in total from submission of PNP application to the Provence.

The OPP certainly seems to have been random though, it seems to have rapidly increased all applicants initially, but then a lottery as to when PPR is sent after file returned to Buffalo.

Hope you and others, in the midst of the interminable wait, hear something positive soon.

equally stressful situations, I think.

Good to see you got passport requests

I am still waiting for the COPR, only been 4 weeks since all my info was received by Seattle. We should have the registered letter in the next couple of weeks, I would imagine.
