I have tried my file number, my wifes and my sons, I have tried my UCI, my file number and even my receipt number. I have tried both Northern Ireland and United Kingdom as my place of birth, but still can't get in.
We're the same. Have you tried Great Britain? (it doesn't work for us with that either but just in case)

There isn't an option for selecting "Great Britain"?

Try England as it is a country although part of the UK.

LOL - yes England worked, although I'm from Northern Ireland.

Thanks FL

Just says "Application received" - even though I have completed my medicals.

If you use ECAS on a regular basis it will drive you insane or to drink. Its not always updated so most tend to ignore ECAS and use the various timelines quoted for whatever application they submitted.

Wow just did my medicals in Edmonton, $400 per adult and $300 per child!!!

You got a great price.

I phoned ALL the CIC listed Doctors doing immigration medicals in Edmonton , even down to Red Deer back in March. I was quoted right around that price that Ib77 stated ($400) . Some a little lower , some a little higher. ALL doctors were booked out at least 4 -6 weeks ahead at that time. I wound up getting all of mine done in Calgary ( a 3 hour drive ) on a Saturday for much less. My main motivation was the time frame I was facing in Edmonton.

Well it's not a huge amount more but it seems pretty high to me but the important thing is that you got them done !

I guess its supply and demand, it was packed to the rafters the day we were there. No option for me not going to drive wife and 3 young kids for 3 hours to save a few hundred bucks, was bad enough an experience as it was.

Just checked Ecas and finally have 'decision made'. I guess this is it, one way or the other? Any guidelines on how long from now I should be expecting to cross the border? I'm planning on making a trip of it and going on a mini holiday so would ideally need to give employer a bit of notice for when that might be...
My timeline looks like this:
pplied PNP - Feb 2013
Received nomination- August 2013
Federal application sent- December 2013
Medicals requested- February 2014
Medicals received- April 2014
Police certificates requested- May 2014
Police certificates received- July 2014
Permanent residents fee requested and paid- August 2014
'Application received'- end of March 2015
'Decision made'- noticed

It took about 4 days for me, it was pretty quick, I noticed the decision made and then 4 or so days later I had an email asking for passport photos and a copy of the passport
