Yes it might. If you re-apply.
And I hope this time CHC sees your true intentions.

Raj,
Presently, the rules are listed here:
http://cicnet.ci.gc.ca/english/newcomer/return_e.html
I doubt you will be able to enter Canada since you do not have an RRP.
I hope you have really good reasons why you "could not return" to Canada.
Perhaps you should start thinking about applying for PR again, under the new rules,
since you obviously weren't committed enough to stay in Canada the first time around.
Good luck.

I work in and out of canada for the past 1 year after landing, I crossed into canada
over 6 times after landing and at no time did the questions take more than 30 secs
while entering from the USA, got guns ? cigarettes/liquor ? are you a permanent
resident ? once or twice they never even saw my papers/passport, just present
yourself at the border after june 28th and see what happens..you have nothing to
lose anyway.

But if he has cut all his ties in the US then he has got something to lose if Canada
refuses him entry as a PR.
And if he's hasn't cut his ties with the US, he'll surely need to go back there for a
short while, and this means leaving and re-entering Canada, with the risk of being
refused entry a second time.

Raj -
Are you on H-1B in the US and hoping your Green Card dream turns into reality? If you
have been visiting this Forum for sometime, there has already been a lot of talk on
fellas like you who try to use Canada as nothing but a backup plan in case of a US
rejection.
Boy, u can't have the cake and eat it too. Think it serves you right. Canada should
include a new criterion in their selection grid wherein anybody with
ambiguous/dubious intent to immigrate to Canada like you should not qualify to apply
in the first place.
