PLEASE HELP POLICE CLEARANCE

Hi,
my name is Sonia and my husband is planning to apply for immigration
to Canada shortly.he will apply under the skilled worker category.
My question is that :-Do we have to submit the police clearance
certificates at the time of application or later when we are asked to
do so by the Canadian High Comission.?
We live in USA for the past 4 years and before that we were in India.
I am very confused about this and this is delaying our application
..please advise.
Thanks
Sonia

Submit everything up front, in that way it won't be returned as incomplete.

when i talked to them after recieving my extension, they told me it would be
ok to wait and to send them as soon as i got them. You should call and make
sure. Sometimes they all have a different story....

Police clearence certificate from which country? India or US. To my understanding there is no need to send police clearence certificate from India. If you mean FBI finger print report, then yes you need to submitt it. If you do not want to delay the submission of your application then you can send it later also.
