Default Please advise Mr. Miller (Buffalo - FBI)

Dear Mr. Miller,

I applied at Buffalo in September 2001 and the initial assessment of
my application was done early in October 2002 with interview waived.

It was required that I complete the medical examinations within 60
days and provide the following additional documents within 90 days:

1. Certified True Copies of letters of reference...
-CURRENT

2. Evidence of funds...
-UPDATED

3. Other:
-COPY OF PAY STUB
-COPY OF W2 INCOME STATEMENT

In first week of November 2002 I had medical tests done and sent
all required documents along with ROLF check to Buffalo. Since
that time there has been no news from the Buffalo office though I
made sure the check was cleared.

The question is why the officer did not ask me for the updated
FBI clearance - on the document list page the corresponding
paragraph was NOT checked and the entry was blank:

"ORIGINAL letters of "no record" or certificates of "good conduct"
for the following family members from the following countries:____"

It would be logically consistent if the officer had instructed
me to delay taking medical exams for 6 months, that would have
indicated that the security check was not expected to be done
within police certificate validity period. But in my case it
looks rather unusual and makes me think that the processing
officer might have done a mistake by not asking for the "no
criminal record" certificate from FBI. And now s/he is either
still waiting for the one to be sent or is currently closing
my case as I "failed to provide ALL required documents within
90 days".

I definitely do not want to let things slip to the point where
it is too late to change anything, yet understand that sending
unnecessary documents might only delay processing and raise
suspicions.

Mr. Miller, what would you advise me to do - to send the
FBI clearance which I obtained recently or to wait for
the processing officer to request it from me (along with
my passport if I am lucky enough)?

Thank you,
Dmitry
