I am just about to apply now for a canda PR by a skilled worker class
can someone advise me whether it is advisable to apply on ur own or go to an
attorney if so who would you guys refer

the immigration procedure is really not that technical for ordinary people
not to follow or understand. if you'll just spend some time reading all
those
information on CIC websites or alike you'll save yourself thousands of
dollars. its no different from baking your own bread or just buying it from
the bakery if you don't have time to bake : )
if you're case is not that complicated so much the better, otherwise
that's what this NG is for. immigration agents are there for applicants who
can't be bothered reading those long (sometimes complicated) immigration
procedures. i used an agent for my application. but that was before learning
there
are websites i can get infos and usenet i can post queries. if i've only
known, i wouldn't have hired the service of an agent and saved myself
a fortune. so the answer to your question depends if you're willing to do
the hardwork of learning the procedure.
