Default physical presence calculator citizen

Could someone confirm that on the dates section I need to put the date I landed as a PR, rather than the later date (2 months later) when i actually flew back to Canada to live. Thanks

Depends which question you're asking about. Iirc, it asks you when you first came to Canada to live (so that would be the two months after landing) but also when you became a PR of Canada, and that would be when you landed.

HTH.

that's what i filled in, but it says you can't live here on a date after you become a PR. That's the confusion. It comes up in big red writing that these dates aren't correct.

Put the same date I.e. your landing date. The two month period will be covered within the absences from Canada section.

the absences are before the 6 year period so i won't even need to mention that. So you're def saying I should put the date on my immigration forms for when I first came to LIVE in Canada? Thanks a lot

Well if you can't put any other date in what are you going to do?

If the forms won't accommodate you then in your cover letter explain the reality as to exactly what happened then you won't feel as if you are misleading.
