Photos for permanent residency - common law partner

Hi, so we've pretty much finished our application for my permanent residency (my Canadian fiancee is sponsoring me as a common law partner) and we're moving back to Canada from England next Tuesday (21st Feb).
I have one question though. The 8 photos I have to send with the application, do they need to be signed on the back and dated, or validated by someone other than me?
Hope someone can help! Thanks in advance
