Default Photos for London application

Sorry all - I originally posted this under the existing thread "Photographs: For London Applications" but then thought shouldn't hijack the thread and didn't want it to get 'lost' in among the other posts. Anyhow, my question:

Oh, I'm confused. We thought the photobooth ones would be fine so I sent off my husband to get his done. He needs 12 in total but since he knew he only needed 4 for the medical (which was yesterday) he just got 4 done. So now his other 8 will be different from his first 4! Is that going to be aproblem? Don't they need to be identical? And if so, how is it OK to use a photobooth, since they only do 4 at a time anyhow (at least the ones around here do)?

Thanks

Charmaine

No it is not big deal. I applied as skilled worker and i sent some different photos (identical) with my primary application. But when my meds arrived i had some other 2 photos(identical). So need to worry. Hope this solves your confusion.

I thought that the photobooth ones would do, but just to be absolutely sure, I went to a photographer, and he checked the CIC photo spec and produced the photos accordingly. He said that the photobooth ones don't always have the correct lighting and image size settings. Best to be safe then sorry, for the sake of a few extra quid.

Wasn't a problem for us. Mr B had all his done, then forgot to take them to his medical. The DMP sent him out there and then to the local Safeway where he got another 4 taken in their instant booth. These were obviously different to the other ones he used on his main application, but it hasn't mattered at all in his case.

Thats good to know. I think that with all the strict guidelines etc for the forms, pasperwork etc, one starts to get paranoid. Thanks Biiiink, I'll save some money later on then.

THanks very much - I'm worrying about so many things and don't want something stupid like photos to delay our application! Good to know we haven't done something wrong already!
