Default Photographs Specs - Experts

Dear Experts, my wife and I just got our photographs and we're going to send those along with our passports to Buffalo for getting them stamped. While the finished photographs certainly meet the specifications given by the CIC, not our full shoulders are visible because of the size from chin to crown is near 30 mm. Hope it's okay.

I know I'm being paranoid but feel it's better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks.

Kismit

Same case with my photos too.
They accepted the photos without any issues.

Best wishes.

Thank you very much, Webcrawler. I know my question was somewhat childish but your answer makes me feel comfortable. :-)

Kismit

PS: It was quite an effort to get the snaps done the way the CIC wants. Every photographer I called said s/he could do it. When I went to his/her place, s/he was dumbfounded. It's not rocket science to cut the snaps to meet the specs - it's just that common sense isn't so common.

I had the same experience with photographers (see my posts from July-August
03).
I finally figured out that the usual chain stores like Wal*Mart, WalGreens,
CVS, etc. couldn't/wouldn't do it the way I wanted.

I went to a professional photo studio and he did exactly what I needed.
It wasn't all that more expensive than the chain stores, maybe 30c. or so
more per photo.

But he did a great job and cut them exactly to specification.
