Personal History
I know this question has been dealt with to a certain extent before, but: I'm filling out the personal history section on the Background/Declaration form and I have questions about 'gaps':
1. What do you class as a gap? (e.g. if I have on one line 08/1997 and the next, 09/1997 - is that a gap?)
2. What did you do about the time quoted for a Uni degree. I've put in, for example) 09/1997 to 08/2000. But is that correct, as that would actually make my degree a month less than three years - which would conflict with the fact I am claiming it as a 3 year course?
3. I held a part-time job before I went to college, and through college, as it was done part-time. Will it be acceptable to have essentially an overlapping entry on the form?
I have attached what I have entered so far...

Re: Personal History
Overlapping entries are fine, my application was full of them.
but study and work were on different sections of the form.
I even had some of the study overlapping (did msce at same time as c&g).
A standard study year is Sept to June/July, they know that.
hope that helps.
oh, and unemployed or travelling are valid answers.
