Default permit extension - ex spouse question

Hey all,

Quick question. So I am completing the forms to extend our permits. One of the questions asks for my husband's ex wifes date of birth... he can't remember it. And we have no way of finding out what is.

Can I leave this off?

Thanks

I would leave it blank and attach a note with an explanation and put something like approx born in XXXX or age approx XX. Normally if the year is known then the month and day would be 01 01.
