Passports?
HI
I may be a bit dumb, but when you send your passports in, do you get a Canadian one back or your British one with a stamp/card in it. Do we have to keep renewing our British passports.
Any help gratefully received.

Re: Passports?
presumably you are asking about a PR visa ?
You get a one time entry visa in your passport along with a form called a COPR (confirmation of permanent residence) . This form gets signed by you when you land. The info on this is used to issue your PR card
You are not entitled to a Canadian passport until you become a citizen.

Re: Passports?
HI
I am already living in Canada (since 2006). Already going through process here for PR. Had Medicals, just waiting for them to ask for passports, but was wondering what we get back. I take it we get back our English Passports with some form of documentation for PR?

ahh , was just about to write , "yes you get the documentation I have mentioned above and then need to flagpole to activate your PR staus" but then I remembered this thread

It seems you may not have to flagpole anymore !
