Red face Passport sent to L. A and no feedback

I sent my passport to L.A. office on 21july2003. Courier company confirm the passport 's arrival.

I have no feedback yet from the office. I can see that CIC online status has changed from "decision made" to "In process" and then changed back to "decision made".

My medical expiry by end of aug2003 or early of sep2003.

Could someone share similar experience ?
I am afraid that it will be a short notice for me to move.

has it been a year since your medicals?

If so, when you get your passport back can you nip over to Canada to "land" and only stay long enough to sort out your SINs, PR Card address etc and fly back? that way you give yourself a bit of breathing space.

Good luck

Clare
