I just received our passports requests this morning via email! The end is finally here!

A little under 3 years of applying (of what was supposed to take 13 months back in 2009), and many ups and downs, sleepless nights, and tearful family reunions and subsequent flights back.

I now have 45 days to supply my passport to London, which i expect to do next Thursday.

I want to thank the following people for their guidance, information and sound advice:

I also want to thank a good friend who didn't make it, but spent countless messages discussing the pain in waiting during the years; fridgedesign. I hope wherever you are, that you have a finalised route for Canada now.

All my family live in Toronto around Eglinton and Rosedale areas, so i'm going to look at there, though, i'll probably struggle at first since we're looking to rent for a year before buying. Wifey quite likes the beaches area, albeit, a bit further out from downtown.

Looking to move in July 2013. Going to land next month to sort out the PR cards and SIN numbers.

Gonna try to get used to not having a car for the first year too!

We received our passport request on Aug 22nd, sent everything off the same day. They required 2 more photos of each of us and a form to be completed confirming eye colour, height and address. Fingers crossed we will receive our COPR anyday! Can't pop in to London, it's too far
