Default Passport request and Passport details??

When a passport request is made, do we need to send in all the passports?? (i.e Expired as well as new passport).

Miller/Humphries, can you please help me?

Thanks in advance

If you renew your passport before Passport request, do you have to update your application similar to when you change your address?

Thanks PMM Can Jim or Andrew confirm this please.

My understanding is that we have to update any new or changed information. I would just hate to send my new passport and have it back without a visa :scared:

Well, i received my new passport few months before Medical/Docs request. So last month when i sent other requested docs to CIC i also sent them a photocopy of new passport BUT This new passport does'nt have any visa stamp. Its new and all of its pages are blank. Whenever they send PP Request, if i just send them this new one , how they will be able to know if I have a legal status in US ? I would also hate to get my passport back from CIC without a visa :scared: Damn , i will travel to Buffalo to get it stamped.

I also want this matter be confirmed by other experts because
in previous posts about passport renewals, it was mostly advised
that we need to send/fax copies of new passports to the embassy.

I, sorry i'm neither andrew nor jim. but i renewed my passport after medicals, and i sent the relevent pages such as address and id pages (anything other than the blank visa pages) by fax to the cic buff. my new passport doesnt have any visa stamps.

it doesnt hurt to extracautious and send newer info. does it???
