Passport Renewal and Visa

Passport Renewal and Visa
Hey,
I received my Visa extension today which runs until November 2, 2016 (whoo).
My current passport expires on the November 6 2016 so I'm going to need to send it off for renewal pretty soon so I still have 6 months left on it to travel.
Does anyone know how that will impact my visa? would I need to get a new one issued with the new passport number?

Renewing your passport won't affect the extension.
