Hello again,
The passport office is telling me turnaround time for a passport is
ten days.
What are people's experiences? Can I be sure to get my passport back
within ten days, or could it take much longer?

I handed my application in person and was told to come back in 10 days. My
passport was ready and waiting. Still, I don't think I would buy a
non-refundable ticket based on what you were told.

i sent mine in on july 26, they've received it on the 27th - and i got
it back yesterday! which is 11 days. :)
