Default Passport Expiry

Hi,

I'm setting myself up ready to build my profile for Express Entry and hope to press submit in mid-September once my English test results arrive (I'm doing the test on Saturday). My passport is due to expire in August 2016. I'm wondering if you would recommend replacing it now or if it will be ok to leave it a couple of months? Originally I was planning to replace the passport probably by March next year, even though it's not due until August 2016, but my plans have changed and I'm putting in my application for Express Entry sooner than I originally planned due to having reached my goal of having enough money for the proof of funds.

Having looked at the most recent draws, if the scores stay around the levels they have since June then I would hope to be drawn out fairly quickly. Obviously I can't predict the next draws, but I'd like to be prepared in advance. If my passport needs to have more than 12 months on it then I'll get the forms to replace it next week - I can't find any documentation anywhere saying anything other than the passport needs to be valid.

Any advice would be very welcome!
