If you send them by post it seems to be between 2-4 weeks at the minute. Drop them off in person, 2 weeks.

As Ben said, took nearly 4 weeks for me thru the post, but a 2 week turn around if you deliver them in person, on a thursday, then you retireve them on the thursday 2 weeks later.

Hi thanks for the info I think we may go for this option - thats if they ask for them soon like it was promised - we had a conversation with a very nice chap at the embassey ( which was quite a novel experience as we were begining to believe that it was all run by a gang of street wise hamsters that had a taste for mind twister) It was so reassurring to talk to a real person that said things that we have been desperate to hear for 3 years!! He said that they would be asking for our passports soon to stamp and issue our visas - that was 2 weeks ago now and have not recieved the brown envelope yet - so mildly worried - did we really speak to someone from the embassey or was it a dream?
