Default Partners payslips for common law app.

I've been scrolling through threads all morning but can't find a recent thread or post on this (my eyes have gone square with all the reading though!)

My common law boyfriend will be sponsoring me.. Do we have to send off 12 months of payslips for him? Im pretty sure i dont have to send payslips but i didn't think he did either until i read a random post from 2013 which sent me into the question!

I know he has to send a letter from his employer, which will be fine. I can't figure out if he needs to send the payslips too.

Thanks for any help!

I was the sponsor when I sponsored my husband, though I sponsored him before we were married, so it was also common-law.

When we applied, I did include 12 months' worth of pay stubs, and I'm certain it was in the checklist, but I've just checked the checklist again and I don't see it there, it appears to only be required if you are subject to the minimum income requirement... (If it's just you and your boyfriend then there's no minimum income requirement). You could include it if you want to, but if it's not on the checklist it's not strictly required.

Yeah just get a signed letter from the employer making sure it meets the requirements on the checklist and also you will need the Option C print out which takes forever, this held my app up by about a month.

Excellent thank you guys.. Loving the helpfulness of everyone on here. Gives me one less thing to stress about knowing that people have answers and are super helpful.. Only 4999 other things to stress about then!

Reading the checklist i took it as a letter from employer OR payslips so you have confirmed what i thought, just wanted to check.

Just requested the Option C this afternoon so fingers crossed that doesn't take an eternity!
