hello, there's been a lot of confusion lately as of how long would it take to sponsor your parents.
can any of the experts give an estimate on the following scenario:
if I apply to sponsor in one year (mid 2006)
the parents live in israel (thus the visa post is tel aviv)
when will they approximately get the PR visas?

Note this is based on previous averages/numbers.
23 months at Mississaugia http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/departm...cess%2Din.html
12 - 25 months at Tel Aviv
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/departm...c-parents.html
So you are looking at 3 to 4 years, so applying in mid 2006 they would be in Canada in time (if processing times don't increase) for the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.
