I am sponsoring my parents to become PR.
They have been requested to go for a medical, I am just wanting to get and idea of what the time line would be between medicals and PR being granted.

I am sponsoring my parents and we have now been asked to submit Police Certificate, my parents have spent most of there lives in England other than a few years in South Africa over 40 years ago, they have also spent the last two years in Canada. Do they need Police certificates for England, South Africa and Canada?

South Africa and the UK - no need for Canada unless specifically asked for.

Thanks for your response. U.k is easy but South Africa may take longer than the 30 days we have been asked to submit by. What happens if we don't submit within the 30 day window?

You explain and submit proof of having applied for them, so you can show you've tried.

We had to apply to the FBI (US)...their website at the time quoted a 90 day turnaround. They were spot on with their estimate.
