option C printout

Dear friend,
I just wanted to know if I just got landed in november and I want to sponsor my wife , do I have to have a option C printout for the most recent taxation year , without having a job ?
and if not What should I explain of that ? Actually I don't know what it is?
So I would be very happy if you give me some information about it.
Thank you so much,

If you have not worked during 2002 or filed an income tax, then you would
not be able to obtain a printout from CCRA.

To reply to your other post as well regarding Option C printout - I have been working temporarily for the past 8 months. I wrote a letter explaining that I had not worked in the past years so could not obtain an option C printout. I got the temp agencies to provide letters confirming I was registered with them, and I also attached copies of all my payslips.
