i have been trying to help someone find the * open work permit forms* on the cic site to download etc....and it seems like an impossible task. they have changed their web site and each time i click on somewhere to go to the forms it takes me to some other part of the site.

if anyone knows where they are and can place a link here ..that would be great!!...cheers!!!

just to clarify..this is for someone in the spouse visa category who will be recieving AIP any day now! and wants to be prepared to send off their work permit application...

There isn't a specific open work permit form. You just fill out the normal work permit application and enclose a note saying that you're applying for an open work permit under the spousal system (or whatever). You can leave the boxes blank where it asks for details of your job.

For some reason the new CIC site has a habit of putting all the useful links at the bottom of the page. It may look prettier than the old site, but it's considerably more difficult to navigate.
