Ontario: Open work permit & child care
Hello All,
(No, no rant about Dec 2004 AORs not having been given notice ...
)
I am on my 2nd 3-yr WP. My wife, resident in Ontario, has an Open Work Permit (applied at and received from Vegreville, AB just recently) which "excludes child care, health care ..." (she did not have a medical examination done).
Now, she has a job offer as a Kindergarten Teacher in a private school (her profession actually) and needs her work permit changed/a medical examination done.
I need to know about the correct procedure: does she use the job offer to apply in Vegreville, AB for a(nother) work permit and get the medical form from there?
Who has done it and knows EXACTLY how it works becasue s/he has done it?
No guesswork, please, facts only.
