Default Oneway or roundtrip tickets?

Hi,

Wanted to know if it is Ok to buy a roundtrip ticket or will I have
any problem with the airline or anyone at the airport? One way fares
are pretty expensive.

Thanks.

Generally, there will be no problem.

Very recent experience has taught me that it is cheaper to buy a return than a one way ticket (although I still have no idea why). With Air Canada, and I presume most other airlines, you need to call about thrree days beforehand to confirm you're actually travelling so they don't resell your seat. They told me at the airport that you just don't confirm the return portion then they'll automatically resell.
It certainly won't cause you any additional headaches.

In three years nobody check my ticket at passport control in Toronto
airport.
Don't see reason why immigration officers must be interested what
ticket you have. You are free man, and can travel as much as you like.

Nobody looked at my tickets when I landed some two weeks ago (March 14.)
I had return (round-trip) tickets with a return date of May 3.

Hope this helps.

I came over toVancouver on a roundtrip ticket because one-way cost almost
twice the amount in January. I never had any problems

Nobody cares if you have a one way or return.
If asked tell them it was cheapest available
