Default One more question about importing goods as a Student

I'm very grateful to PMM for pointing me out to the CBSA's PDF on importing stuff as a student. But I have a slightly more mundane question about it. I'll be up there on a Study Permit and when my friends ship my stuff up there to me will they just use the Address I give them and ship it UPS/FedEx/US Postal Service and somehow Canadian Customs will hold onto it and I'll have go pick it up and clear it out of customs.

Or is there something here I'm missing and making it harder than it should be. If anyone could give me a step by step I would really apprieciate it. Thanks so much for helping with my mundane question about moving.
