Default one CONSECUTIVE year?

Thanks for the replies to my two previous question. One more: for
conjugal partners, does it have to be a CONSECUTIVE year of living
together, or could I count 2 and a half months earlier this year if I
then left for a year in between the following 9 and a half months of
living together? Thanks again.

So, what you're saying is that you've been apart since the
'relationship' started, for longer than you've been together? Depending on
the situation (unfortunately, you don't give details) it would be unlikely
to be accepted.
