Default Oct '04 - Medical request recieved

Hi all,

Things appear to be moving. Got our Medical Requests today.
On the form the following items were ticked:

- New Sched 1
- Updated Proof of employment
- Evidence of funds
- Police certs
- Medical Examination. Instructions enclosed

All due within 90 days from date of the letter (15/11/06).

So does a medical request mean they've assessed our points score and we have the required points? (i.e the only thing that can stop us now is a failed medical/criminal record).

Not sure wether to carry on worrying - "do I have enough points?" - or to move on to worrying - "will we pass the medical?"

Thanks for the update. Did you also have a December delay letter?

Nope, had no contact from CIC whatsoever. I e-mailed them a few weeks back, they replied (Oct 24th I think) telling me we'd be processed within the next 6-8 weeks - so very surprised to here from them today.

You heard anything at all?

Only the December delay letter back in February - getting a bit anxious, to be honest. I'm getting my CAIPS notes on Monday, though, so hopefully some sort of info will be in there.

SkiBum,

As our submission dates are so close, I would be interested to hear if your CAIPS notes show anything of interest ??

Patrick.

Good Luck, I'm sure things will start moving along for you soon.

Any of the experts (PMM,Andrew Miller, Jim Humphries) - do you know if a Medical Request means that they've done an IA of our application and are happy that we have enough points?

Thanks for any info.

Helloo
We have a similar timeline too.
Had the December delay letter and we are hanging on to the glimmer of hope that one day on the near future our postman will deliver something!
